No wonder why uni fees are so expensive in the US!... Says me who studied for free for 5 years in French uni. I also had (many moons ago) the opportunity to go to an American College in Vermont for a summer course and after 7 weeks came back 5 kg heavier! The one that still cracks me is the "sugarless" water....had never heard of it before... ;0)Nathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12371984125394985318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042538732461826230.post-15327022297133904542012-07-22T05:17:55.750+01:002012-07-22T05:17:55.750+01:00Thanks again to all for your feedback! I've been trying to respond to some individual comments here and there, but I'm pleased that there are too many to reply to them all, so a big, BIG, thanks one more time, and I left my Twitter handle and blog address in the comments from somewhere earlier in the week, so we can always keep the conversation going.

CJAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11282256238281235690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042538732461826230.post-55869329704589872542012-07-22T03:15:10.717+01:002012-07-22T03:15:10.717+01:00Some people raise issue with the fluoride in tap w...Some people raise issue with the fluoride in tap water. I have no problem drinking from the tap, or using a filter for some of the places I lived, but in one apartment, my water was orange. It caused me to develop skin infections, and around my nails and other places quickly developed infections from bathing and cleaning my dishes. I don't think any filter would have made me comfortable enough to drink that water. I refused to even give it to my dog. And my landlady refused to do anything about it.

My water here sometimes smells like sulfur, and it has an off flavor. And due to my living situation, a filter is just not an option. So I buy my water. I'm hoping to move again very soon and hope to be able to just use the tap again.Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01575769949858181359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042538732461826230.post-23404884281336481752012-07-21T17:08:01.348+01:002012-07-21T17:08:01.348+01:00Y'all, Dudes, Dudesses and of course lets not ...Y'all, Dudes, Dudesses and of course lets not forget CJ, Joy, GJB and Sunflower Gal.

A great way to end your week, it has been interesting, fun and informative and I have enjoyed reading all the posts throughout the week.

All the best with your studies and again a grand job, Thank you!!!Well Done Veghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11860979518997459465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042538732461826230.post-42536596182012194202012-07-21T16:43:28.714+01:002012-07-21T16:43:28.714+01:00Even being from America and having eaten at severa...Even being from America and having eaten at several universities in Florida, I still can't get over how expensive the food on the Texas Tech campus is!
